Technology
RONAL is innovative in all major areas, such as design, lightweight construction,
materials and process technology, and surface treatment.
Open to alternative materials
The basic material used in our wheels is aluminum, for which RONAL relies
exclusively on high-grade primary alloys. However, RONAL's engineers
also examine the application possibilities offered by alternative materials,
such as composites.

Casting
and flow-turning
RONAL has specialized in casting light alloy wheels for over thirty years.
In addition to one-piece wheels, RONAL also manufactures high quality
two- and three-piece wheels, the components of which are either cast
or flow-turned. As a result, reduction in mass can be combined harmoniously
with discerning designs.
Less is more
Aluminum is considerably lighter than steel. RONAL optimizes this advantage
in the design and development of its wheels. 19" diameter RONAL
wheels with a mass below 10 kg are among the company’s top achievements.
A lasting lustre
At RONAL various paint finishes, high-gloss turning and polishing are
standard. An elaborate multi-layer structure ensures a top quality
surface. The resulting well-known RONAL quality is based on a superior
cast and a complex pre-treatment of the wheels.
